Ariana Grande an American pop star, has been slammed with a law suit following the imagery used in the musical video for her song titled "God is a woman". A Las Vegas artist by name Vladimir Kush slammed Ariana with the law suit sighting Copyright infringement.

The bone of contention stemmed from the imagery used by the popular musician in the said video for "God is a woman". In the video, Ariana Grande is seen dancing as the wick in a candle flame.
Kush's painting
Vladimir is suing Ariana and Freejoy inc for copyright infringement. Saying Ariana stole the idea of the candle imagery from his paintings he made nearly 20 years ago. The first painting he named "The Candle while the second one is "The Candle 2 which both featured a woman on a candle as the wick with arms raised towards the sky. According to the suit the images are too striking and a rip off. He also said Ariana's video also features same cloudy sky, ring effect of clouds around the flame and same light beams radiating from the flame. Kush works were copyrighted in 1999 and 2000
Further more Vladimir a Las Vegas artist, says the Production company Ariana used has experience in stolen artistic works. He says Freejoy inc and its prez were also involved in producing Kendrick Lamar's "All the stars" video - and you might recall ...another artist sued them over that one, also claiming a ripoff.
Vladimir wants an injunction for an unspecified amount of money and to remove the singers video from the internet. The musical video has garnered 200 million views already ... Kinda too late !
Susan Gutierrez, an attorney who represented Grande ed Grande in a 2016 copyright infringement lawsuit, declined on Monday to comment about the Las Vegas case.
