Davido is elated this morning for being nominated on the international scene once again.

The Nigerian hip hop artist is the one nominated for Africa, in the Favorite Global Music Star category at the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Award 2019. This category recognizes only one artist from just one continent. Other famous artists from different continents nominated alongside Davido are David Guetta (Europe), BLACKPINK (Asia), Troye Sivan (Australia), Taylor Swift (North America), J Balvin(Latin America) and HRVY (United Kingdom).

The international star passed this information on his twitter handle @iamDavido this morning saying

"It feels good to be along side the greats, make Una no jonze oo we fit win ooo! Vote for as Favorite Global Star at the at the Nickelodeon kids choice award 2019 Africa let's take this"

Other Nigerian celebrities, Ik Osakioduwa and Adesuwa Etomi-Wellington are also nominated in the Favorite African star category.

The award is billed to take place on the 23rd of March and will be hosted by DJ Khaled.
