Mixed Reports About Jussie Smollett's Case.
There seems to be a counter report, in the wake of allegations that Jussie Smollett the Empire star faked his racist and homophobic crime attack on himself on 29th January, to promote his career according to the Chicago police department.
Jussie turned himself in to the police department on Thursday.
On Thursday morning the actor turned himself in, to the Chicago police department to face charges of filing a false report to the police. After he allegedly schemed and took part in a racist and homophobic attack against himself with the help of two accomplices, US-born brothers of Nigerian descent. Ola and Abel Osundairo, were purportedly given a cheque of $3,500 as reward for the faked "attack".

However new report claimed the gay actor did not pay the Nigerian brothers that amount to beat him up in the faked racist and homophobic attack before putting a rope around his neck. This new claim is contrary to what the police department alleged against Jussie.
Sources connected to the case say the actor actually gave the pair were given the money to train Jussie and get him in shape for an upcoming music video. The money also covers five weeks nutrition plan for Jussie Smollett.

Abel and Ola told the grand jury they were given the cheque for the training and nutrition plan. But not for the attack. Sources close to the Nigerian pair also say Ola and Abel felt the money was a little too "high". And that no one ever specifically say the money was a part of a scheme.
The report also says that the duo claimed that they had nothing to do with the hate letter sent to Smollett 8 days beforwithe "hoax attack".
In the midst of all these allegations counter allegations and denials the 36 years old actor has been suspended from the cast of Fox's hip hop drama Empire.
Superintendent Eddie Johnson say Smollett took "advantage of the pain and anger of racism to promote his career"
TMZ says FBI reported that Jussie Smollett may not have been the one who sent the letter to himself. This particular case is still under investigation.
Jussie Smollett next court date is March 16th.
